A super healthy and super easy salad with the goodness of quinoa, chick peas and avocado in it. Quinoa, Chick Peas & Avocado Salad is a complete salad with a perfect balance of nutrient rich ingredients such as quinoa, spinach, avocado and cherry tomato.

Cooked quinoa and chick peas are mixed together with spinach, avocado, feta cheese  olives and ranch dressing. This salad recipe is very easy and can be made in no time. Spinach is a rich source of Vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants and quinoa is protein rich too. So, try to include quinoa and spinach in your diet.

Quinoa, Chick Peas & Avocado Salad Recipe


  • Quinoa – 300 gms
  • Chick peas – 200 gms
  • Spinach – 2 cups, chopped
  • Kalamata olives – 2 Tbsp
  • Cherry tomatoes – 1/2 cup, halved
  • Feta cheese – 2 Tbsp, cubes
  • Avocado – 2 , diced
  • Red onion – 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber – 1, sliced
  • Ranch dressing as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Soak chick peas overnight and cook.
  2. Drain and let it cool down (see notes)
  3. Boil quinoa, cool down and set aside (see notes).
  4. Cut the vegetables and set aside.
  5. In a bowl combine, take all the ingredients (except avocado and feat cheese).
  6. Drizzle ranch dressing over it.
  7. Toss well combine, make sure to coat the dressing evenly.
  8. Adjust the seasoning.
  9. Garnish with diced avocado and feta cheese.

Note: To cook the quinoa, take one cup of quinoa and one cup of water in sauce pan. Bring to boil and cook until done. Refer the cooking instructions on the packet. You can use store bought chick peas instead of home cooked one.
