Quinoa & Berries Breakfast Porridge is a very healthy and satisfying breakfast dish made with quinoa  cooked in almond milk, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, almond and pistachio.

Quinoa & Berries Breakfast Porridge

I have used golden quinoa for this recipe and I have cooked the quinoa in water and almond milk 🥛, and when it was almost done berries were added. Brown sugar should added only when the quinoa has completely cooked through, adding the sugar early will prevent the quinoa from getting completely cooked. You can skip the sugar if you don’t want the extra sweetness in your porridge.

Quinoa & Berries Breakfast Porridge Recipe..


  • Quinoa – 300 gms
  • Water -400 ml
  • Almond milk – 250 ml
  • Strawberry -1 cup
  • Blue berries – 1/2 cup
  • Raspberries -1/2 cup
  • Brown sugar -2 Tbsp
  • Almond -1 Tbsp, sliced
  • Pistachio -1 Tbsp, sliced
  • Strawberry sliced for garnish


  1. Wash quinoa and drain.
  2. In a thick bottomed vessel take quinoa and water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
  4. Add almond milk and let cook until soft.
  5. Once cooked, add in strawberries, blueberries, sugar and raspberries.
  6. Let it cook for another 3 more minutes.
  7. Remove from fire and let cool down a bit.
  8. Transfer into serving dishes and serve garnished with berries and almond and pistachio nuts.
  9. Enjoy your porridge.
