Dalgona Coffee Recipe is very simple  and easy to make. Let’s make this delicious, creamy dalgoona coffee today.

Dalgona coffee is originated from Korea and it’s famous all over the social media these days. This sweet and frothy coffee looks a cappucino on top with the creamy and delicious dalgona coffee mix on top and milk on the bottom.  It’s served either hot or cold.

No special ingredients needed and this coffee is made with items you have already in your kitchen pantry. All you need is instant coffee powder, sugar and milk.

If you don’t have the blender handy, you can use whisk. Using a whisk might take longer to make but will give same result as a electric blender.

Dalgona Coffee Recipe with step  by step photos..

1.Take 5 Tsp instant coffee in a bowl

2.Add 5 Tsp of sugar and 5 Tsp of hot boiling water to it.

3.Set the blender at a high speed and blend for about 4-5 minutes (you can use whisk if blender is not available)

4.Blend to stiff consistency as shown in the picture below.

5.Fill the serving glass with ice cubes

6.Pour milk over it

7.Spoon the dalgona coffee mix over the coffee

8.Using a spoon give it a nice shape.

9.Sprinkle coffee powder over it to garnish (optional)

10.To make hot dalgona, pour hot milk..

11.Top up the milk with dalgona coffee mix, sprinkle coffee powder and serve.

  • Instant coffee – 5 Tsp
  • Sugar – 5 Tsp
  • Hot water – 5 Tsp
  • Milk – 2 cups
  • Ice cubes
  • Instant coffee powder to garnish

  1. In a clean bowl, take instant coffee powder, sugar and hot water.
  2. Mix well using a spoon first.
  3. Then immerse a hand blender and blend at high speed.
  4. Make sure the blender speed is set a high speed for better result.
  5. It should take out 4-5 minutes.
  6. The color of the mixture changes slowly after a minute of blending.
  7. Keep going until you creamy and stiff mixture as shown in the photo above.
  8. Keep the dalgona coffee mixture aside.
  9. To make the cold dalgona coffee, fill up almost half of a serving glass with ice cubes.
  10. Then pour the milk over ice cubes.
  11. And slowly spoon the dalgona over the milk.
  12. Sprinkle coffee powder (optional) and serve immediately.
  13. To make the hot dalgona coffee, pour hot milk into a serving glass.
  14. Then slowly spoon the dalgona coffee mix over the milk.
  15. Sprinkle coffee powder  (optional) and serve immediately.
