Cauliflower & Quinoa Bites Recipe with step by photos..


  • Quinoa – 200 gms
  • Cauliflower – 1 cup, coarsely chopped
  • Water – 400 ml
  • Cumin powder -1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Garlic -1 Tsp, chopped
  • Lemon juice -1 Tsp
  • Coriander leaves -1 Tbsp, chopped
  • All purpose flour -1 Tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil -1 Tbsp for griddling


  1. In a sauce pan, take quinoa and water, bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the flame to simmering, cover with a lid and cook until the water has been fully absorbed.
  3. Mean while, cut cauliflower into florets.
  4. Bring a pot of water to boil and add cauliflower to the boiling water and cook until soft.
  5. Drain ,set aside and let it cool down.
  6. Once cooled down, chop the cauliflower roughly (coarsely).
  7. In a bowl, combine quinoa, cauliflower, cumin, lemon juice, garlic, salt and mix well.
  8. Add in flour, chopped coriander and mix until the mixture has come together.
  9. Once fully combines, make uniform balls out of the mixture.
  10. Slightly oil your hands and flatten the balls between your palms to give a patty shape.
  11. Heat up a thick bottomed non-stick skillet, apply oil and place the patties on the pan.
  12. Give a nice golden brown color on each side.
  13. Serve hot garnished a lime wedge.
