Veggie/ Vegetable Salad

A superb salad to eat if you are wanting to watch your calorie intake. This is a quick salad recipe, it can eaten as salad or as a side dish with your meat dishes.



  • Onion – 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato– 1 medium, diced
  • Bell pepper- 1, diced
  • Broccoli – 100 gms, florets
  • Red spinach –  1 handful, diced
  • Green spinach – 1 handful, diced
  • Lemon – 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Cut vegetables into dices.
  2. In a clean bowl, combine all the ingredients with lemon juice,salt and black pepper
  3. Salad is ready to served

Note: Mix the salad as close to the service as possible, this will prevent the leafy vegetables from wilting.
