Quinoa Salmon & Herbs Salad is made with quinoa, oven roasted flaky salmon, herbs, roquette lettuce, herbs and lemon dressing. A superbly healthy, rich and yet delicious salad with the robust flavour and fishy taste of salmon is balanced with herbs such as dill, chives, parsley,etc.

I have pan seared the salmon first and then oven baked the salmon in moderate hot oven. Then the salmon was flaked and combined with quinoa, onion, cucumber, herbs and lemon dressing.

Quinoa Salmon & Herbs Salad Recipe..


  • Salmon – 500 gms
  • Quinoa – 200 gms, cooked
  • Roquette leaves or arugula
  • Parsley -1 cups
  • Chives -1 cup
  • Dill -1 cup
  • Cucumber -1 cup, sliced
  • Red onion -1 cup, sliced
  • Lemon juice -2 Tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil -2 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black peppercorns


  1. Marinate the salmon with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the salmon on a hot skillet  on all the sides.
  3. Cook salmon in a preheated oven at 180 degree celcious for 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile make the dressing- combine lemon 🍋 juice and olive oil in a a bowl and season.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it cook down.
  6. Once cooled down, break the salmon and make it flaky.
  7. Combine the herbs, quinoa, onion, cucumber, salmon and dressing.
  8. Gently toss to mix everything together.
  9. Dish out and serve.
  10. Enjoy your salad.
