For this recipe, you need to have cooked quinoa. I would recommend you to cook quinoa beforehand, store it in the refrigerator and use it as you need it. Cooked quinoa can be refrigerated for a good days time. So don’t hesitate to cook and store it.

Golden Quinoa & Avocado Shake Recipe

Ingredients

  • Quinoa – 1 cup, cooked
  • Avocado – 2, diced
  • Kale – 1 cup, roughly chopped
  • Spinach – 1 cup
  • Ice cubes – 1/2 cup
  • Lemon – 1 juiced
  • Water as needed

Directions

  1. Cook quinoa first and let it cool down. Refer package directions for cooking quinoa.
  2. Take all the ingredients in a food processor and blend it smooth.
  3. Add more ice if needed and be mindful about the quantity of water you pour in.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve. Enjoy!
