This wonderful Pork & Coconut Curry is made with pork cubes, which are marinated with  Indian spices and then slow simmered in  onion, tomato, Indian spices and coconut based sauce until tender.

This Pork & Coconut Curry is so rich in flavor and has the abundance of Indian spices and herbs. Towards the end of cooking coconut cream is added and which helps balance and enhance  the flavor profile.

Pork & Coconut Curry Recipe


  • Pork – 5oo gms, cubes
  • Potato – 250 gms, cubes
  • Vegetable oil- 2 Tbsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 Tsp
  • Chilly powder -3/4 Tsp
  • Coriander powder -1/4 Tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1 Tsp
  • Gingergarlic paste – 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Onion -2 medium, sliced
  • Tomato – 1 medium, sliced
  • Coconut cream -1/2 cup
  • Corinader


  1. Trim and cut the pork into cubes.
  2. Cut potato into cubes, slice onion and tomato and set aside.
  3. Heat up pan or skillet over a medium high heat and pour oil.
  4. Marinate the pork with half of powdered spices and oil and set aside.
  5. Add sliced onion, salt and saute.
  6. After a minute slide in  the ginger and garlic paste.
  7. Continue to cook on a slow fire until the onions are soft.
  8. Now sprinkle the powdered spices and cook well.
  9. Slide in sliced tomatoes and continue for a minute.
  10. Add pork cubes into it and bring to a boil.
  11. Once boiled, reduce the fire and cover with a lid.
  12. After 5 minutes, open the cover or lid and add potatoes.
  13. Let it cook on a simmering fire for 15  minutes.
  14. Remove the cover and add coconut cream or coconut milk.
  15. Continue cooking stirring occasionally to make sure that pork does not stick to the bottom.
  16. When the pork cubes are tender, add chopped coriander leaves and finish cooking.
