A very easy recipe with simple steps to follow- just cook the quinoa and soak it overnight in almond milk, fruits and berries and refrigerate. Next morning, stir up the soaked quinoa and top it with strawberry relish nuts and berries and your Overnight Quinoa & Strawberry Relish is ready.

Overnight Quinoa & Strawberry Relish Recipe


  • Quinoa – 1 cup
  • Water -2 cups
  • Almond milk – 1/2 cup
  • Almonds sliced
  • Strawberry – 1 cup
  • Sugar 1 Tbsp
  • Cardamom– 1
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Raspberries


  1. Wash and drain the quinoa, set aside.
  2. In thick bottomed sauce pan, combine quinoa and water and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce to simmer and cook until soft.
  4. Remove from the fire, fluff quinoa with a fork.
  5. Let it sit and cool down.
  6. To Make the strawberry relish- combine strawberry 🍓 with little bit of water and sugar in a sauce pan.
  7. Bring to a boil, reduce the flame and add cardamom pod, continue to cook on a slow flame.
  8. Let the strawberries break down and becomes syrupy in consistency (delicious  strawberry relish recipe, click here). Cool down and refrigerate.
  9. Combine cooked quinoa, almond milk, berries and fruits in a jar and shake well.
  10. Refrigerate the jar overnight.
  11. Next morning, stir the quinoa mix and top it
