Onion,Tomato,Cucumber and Fish Salad

A perfect option for your high calorie and heavy lunch meal. You are right , lunch has no rules ! So, let’s try this simple yet beautiful salad which can be made with a handful of ingredients in no time and can easily substitute your heavy lunch meals.


  • Onion – 2 medium, diced
  • Tomato – 2 medium, diced
  • Cucumber – 1, diced
  • Tuna fish- 500 gms
  • Turmeric powder- 1/2 Tsp
  • Chilly powder -1/2 Tsp
  • Gingergarlic paste -1 Tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Lemon wedge -1
  • Oil for grilling


  1. Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric, chilly powder, gingergarlic paste, lemon juice, salt and black pepper.
  2. Refrigerate the fish for 15 minutes.
  3. Cut onion, tomato and cucumber(deseeded) into cubes.
  4. Heat the skillet and apply tiny bit of oil.
  5. Cook the fish on skillet until both the sides areĀ  done.
  6. Mix onion, cucumber, tomato and lemon juice in a bowl.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Dish out the salad together with fish and enjoy.
