One Pot Beef, Quinoa & Turmeric

One Pot Beef, Quinoa & Turmeric is an easy to make, simple and yet delicious 😋 one pot meal made with quinoa, beef, turmeric, Cauliflower, carrots and finished with coriander leaves. This recipe uses one slice which is turmeric powder and it came out really flavourful and delicious.

I have longing to make this one pot meal for ages and finally it became a reality. I have just made it last night for dinner and I could not even wait to take the photograph, I just barely took the photographs.

I can’t just tell you how this meal smelt with turmeric powder and whole black black pepper corns in it. Once Thisbe one pot meal was ready and I just let sit for for two minutes before adding the chopped coriander leaves.

One Pot Beef, Quinoa & Turmeric Recipe..


  • Quinoa -300 gms
  • Tenderloin – 400 gms, diced
  • Extra virgin olive oil -1 Tbsp
  • Garlic -1 Tbsp, chopped
  • Onion– 1 medium, diced
  • Carrot -2 diced
  • Cauliflower -1 cup, florets
  • Turmeric -1 Tsp
  • Whole Black peppercorns
  • Salt To taste
  • Coriander -1 Tbsp, chopped


  1. Heat up a thick bottomed vessel on a slow fire.
  2. Add olive and sear the diced beef, make sure that all the pieces are well seared.
  3. When the beef is nice golden brown in colour, add onion and garlic.
  4. Saute for a couple minutes and add quinoa.
  5. Stir fry quinoa for 2 minutes.
  6. Add in turmeric powder, salt and whole peppercorns.
  7. Add water and vegetables.
  8. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.
  9. Cook until beef is soft and tender.
  10. Adjust seasoning and finish with chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Dish out and serve hot. Enjoy!
