Lemon and Tulsi Drink

If you want to refresh yourself after a long and hectic day this  lemon, tulsi and honey drink is definetly a choice. Tulsi, lemon juice and honey in a drink is an unimaginably magnificent combination. The health benefits of both the holy tulsi and the mighty lemon is very well known to everyone.

Tulsi has antioxidant properties and is good for curing a number of diseases.  Tulsi helps in reducing anxiety, a very good stress buster, lowers body toxin  level and also helps burning body fat.

Lemon is very rich in Vitamin C, contains minerals such as magnesium, calcium and phosphorous. Lemon juice is very good in controlling blood pressure, obesity , acidity and  constipation. Lemon juice burns body fat and helps to reduce body weight. Lemon juice, hot water and honey is very good for obesity. Lemon water is also good for removing the body fatigue and sore throat.

Ingredients

  • Lemon juice- 4 Tbsp
  • Honey – 4 Tbsp
  • Tulsi juice – 1 Tsp
  • Water – 1 cups
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Tulsi leaves for garnish

Directions

  1. To make tulsi flavored ice cubes; squeeze out the tulsi juice, mix with one table spoon of water.
  2. Pour it to the ice cubes tray and let it freeze.
  3. Mix together lemon juice, honey and water.
  4. Take the ice cubes in the serving glass.
  5. Pour the drink to the serving glass.
  6. Garnish with sliced lemon and tulsi leaves and enjoy.
