Kiwi Jam

Kiwi jam, a kid’s special. If you have kids at home, then you should have kiwi jam on your kitchen shelf, as they will like home made jam’s more than anything else and is a perfect spread for bread, roti’s , or even for dosa.

Kiwi fruit is good source for Vitamin C, aids digestion and very good source of dietary fiber.


  • Kiwi – 200 gms
  • Sugar – 10o gms
  • lemon juice – 1 Tbsp
  • Honey – 3 Tbsp


  1. Wash and peel the skin.
  2. Remove the core and roughly chop.
  3. In food pan, take kiwi, sugar and honey.
  4. Bring them to a boil.
  5. Reduce the flame, add sugar and mash the kiwi fruit using the back side of the spoon..
  6. Continue to cook on a slow flame until the sugar is dissolved.
  7. When the sugar is completely dissolved, bring again to boil and add lemon juice.
  8. Switch off the fire, let it cool down at room temperature.
  9. Use sterilized jars and bottles for storing and always leave some head space.
