Homemade Quinoa & Almond Milk

I have recently come across a blog post on Homemade Quinoa Milk and since then I have been thinking about trying  this delicious Homemade Quinoa & Almond Milk recipe.

I lovvve almonds, I often make almond milk at home ( ofcourse the sweet version of it or the very very sweet version of it 😋) and I thought of combining quinoa and almonds and give it a try- the end product was a super delicious, super refreshing quinoa and almond milk.

  • Quinoa – 400  gms, cooked
  • Water – 4 cups
  • Almonds – 1 cup
  • Honey – 4 Tbsp


  1. Soak almonds in water for 30 minutes ( soaking over night preferred).
  2. Peel the skin off and set aside.
  3. In pot pot take quinoa and water, bring to boi.
  4. Reduce fire and cook until soft.
  5. Let it cool in the refrigerator.
  6. Once cold, take quinoa, almonds and water, blend well (almost smooth).
  7. Strain the blended mixture through a fine strainer or cheesecloth.
  8. Stir in honey and serve cold.

Note: Homemade Quinoa & Almond milk can be refrigerated for a good 3-4 days. Feel free add in honey or any sweetener as per your taste.
