There are many reasons why pear is one of my favorite fruits. This sweet, juicy and low in calorie fruit is available all the time. A very good source of Vitamin A, C , folic acid and fiber. The best way to make good use of the fruit is to make smoothies. This Green Pear & Alomd Smoothie is super easy to make it at home and keeps you full for a long time.

Green Pear & Almond Smoothie

I make smoothies more often than not. I love making smoothies, it’s fun making them and even more it’s one of the most effective and efficient to eat healthy. But why I choose pear fruit normally? As a matter of fact, I use all the fruits and vegetables but my all time favorite is pear. Pear is a versatile fruit, it’s flavor and taste compliments with whatever ingredients you choose to make smoothies with!

Green Pear & Almond Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Green pear – 6 each,
  • Almond – 1 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Honey – 2 Tbsp

Directions

  1. Soak almonds in water or milk for some time (approximately 2 hours).
  2. Wash pears and cut them into small cubes ( cutting into small pieces will ease the blending process)
  3. Take pears, almonds, milk and honey in blender.
  4. Blend to smooth and shiny consistency.
  5. Refrigerate the smoothie before serving.
