Dragon Fruit Smoothie

Dragon fruit, although you don’t find it that easily in local fruit markets, it’s one of those fruit you should never decline. These wonderful fruits are found in two different colors- red and yellow with a black and edible seeds are distributed throughout theĀ  white flesh inside . Talking about it’s flavor , it stands in between kiwi and pear ( truly speaking I am confused about the flavor).

This super healthy fruits are good for skin, hair, improves appetite, improves vision and helps prevents diseases such as cancer and congenital glaucoma etc..

Ingredients

  • Dragon fruit – 400 gms
  • Yogurt – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 4 Tsp, optional
  • Banana – 1
  • Crushed ice -1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Cut open the dragon fruit and remove the flesh.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor.
  3. Blend it to a fine and smooth consistency.
  4. Serve cold and enjoy.

Note: Sugar can be substituted with honey
