Crispy Fried Banana



  • Banana – 500 gms
  • Rice flour – 1 cup
  • Maida – 2 Tbsp
  • Baking soda – one pinch
  • Sugar – 50 gms
  • Water as needed


  1. Peel and cut length wise banana into half.
  2. In bowl mix together rice flour, maida, sugar and baking sofa.
  3. Add water into this little by little to make thin batter.
  4. Batter should should be of coating consistency, not too thick and not too thin.
  5. In a frying vessel, keep oil hot.
  6. Dip the cut banana into the batter and deep fry.
  7. Serve hot.
