Badam Milk or Almond Milk

Badam or almond milk is a delicious  and healthy drink made of mixing almond paste, milk and sugar. You can also add cardamom powder also for the flavoring.

  • Badam or Almonds – 1/2 cup
  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Condensed milk – 2 Tbsp, optional
  • Sugar – 4 Tbsp
  • Cardamom – 4 each


  1. Soak almonds in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Peel the skin off and take little milk and badam in a blender.
  3. Blend the badam to fine paste.
  4. In a thick bottomed container, heat up milk.
  5. Add the badam paste, sugar, cardamom powder to milk and mix well.
  6. Stir the milk at regular intervals so that it does not scorch on the bottom.
  7. You don’t to need to boil the milk vigorously, just bring to a boil and switch off the fire.
  8. Serve hot or warm.

Note: Badam milk can also chilled and served. You can add flavorings of your choice such as rose water, saffron, etc
