Two goodies in one salad, nutrient rich, protein rich quinoa and fibre rich and nutrient rich avocados in this beautiful Avocado & Quinoa Salad Recipe. A very easy and simple recipe, made with quinoa, avocado, cherry tomatoes with lime and chilli dressing.

Avocado & Quinoa Salad Recipe

To make the dressing, I have used a pestle and mortar , to crush together all ingredients. If you don’t have pestle and mortar handy, just use a blender to crush the ingredients. Add oil, lime juice and seasoning and let it sit for good 30 minutes, and the resting is very important step as the flavour intensifies while resting.

Avocado & Quinoa Salad Recipe..


  • Quinoa -500 gms, cooked
  • Avocado – 2, diced
  • Cheery Tomato– 1/2 cup, halves
  • Red onion – 1 diced
  • Garlic – 1 Tsp, chopped
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Lime juice -1 Tbsp
  • Jalapeno or green chilly- 1 Tsp, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Chop garlic, jalapeño and mix with extra virgin olive oil, lime juice, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Let it sit for a good 30 minutes and let the flavour gets intensified.
  3. In a bowl, combine quinoa, chopped red onion, cherry tomatoes, avocados and gently toss together with the salad dressing.
  4. Place your list items hereDish out and serve garnished with a lime wedge. Enjoy.

Note: You can add some spice or any green leafy vegetables of your choice to give extra body to the salad.
